Twenty students from ten different states were the first to graduate from FMCA’s inaugural class on October 27, 2016.
They joined faculty members and current students at a reception and ceremony in their honor at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago, IL. Enjoy these pictures from the event.
“I am so very proud of these graduates and truly honored to have had the opportunity to work with such a passionate, dedicated group of people,” says program founder and CEO, Sandra Scheinbaum, Ph.D. Graduates are joining the workforce at an ideal time. Demand for health coaches is soaring as is the influence of Functional Medicine. “With an education steeped in both and real, hands-on experience working with clients during the extensive practicum, graduates are uniquely prepared to pursue a career as Functional Medicine Health Coaches,” says Scheinbaum. FMCA is growing, too. By the end of 2017, the program will graduate nearly 350 Functional Medicine Certified Health Coaches!
