Earn Continuing Education Credits with FMCA
As lifelong learners, FMCA students are always building their expertise and earning professional recognition for their work. To facilitate this, FMCA works with a variety of professional organizations to receive approval for Continuing Education. Below, you will find our current Continuing Education approvals. While we continue to expand this list, we cannot guarantee that your particular profession will be represented. As we gain more approvals, the organizations will be added to the list below.
International Coach Federation (ICF)
The following FMCA Health Coach Training classes are accredited with ICF as Continuing Coach Education (CCE) programs:
February 2017: 45 hours Core Competencies, 7 hours Resource Development
August 2017: 33.5 hours Core Competencies
February 2018: 32.9 hours Core Competencies

International Consortium for Health and Wellness Coaching (ICHWC)
This program is an ICHWC-Approved Transition Program. Successful graduates meet the eligibility requirements (for the Transition Phase) to sit for the HWC Certifying Examination required for health & wellness coaches to become National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC).

Continuing education for nurses for the September 2018 class is pending approval by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA).
American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA)
This activity has been submitted to the American Holistic Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The American Holistic Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN)
