FMCA is proud to announce a new partnership with Partners In Change. This partnership provides a unique opportunity for our graduates to serve under-resourced adults from diverse communities. This helps coaches gain valuable experience, while also helping others overcome challenges.
Partners in Change has a mission to “pair trained volunteer coaches with adults who desire to assert greater control over circumstances and challenges holding them back.” This aligns with their vision to “enable personal, social, and economic upward mobility for individuals, families, and communities.”
FMCA graduates will be partnered with clients through Partners in Change for a year, providing them with an incredible professional opportunity. What’s more, this partnership will create a profound impact on the lives of the clients and their communities.
Dr. Mark Hyman Webinar
Recently, FMCA has had the pleasure of hosting an informational webinar with Dr. Mark Hyman. This webinar offered attendees an exclusive look into Dr. Hyman’s company, Function Health. It includes tips on how health coaches can coach their clients through their results.
Function Health tracks over 100 biomarkers over time through lab testing. Users sign up to receive lab tests twice a year, or on-demand. Results are sent with accompanying insights from top doctors. Function Health promises to be an excellent resource for health coaching clients to take an in-depth look at their health.
During the webinar, Dr. Sandi shared her Function Health test results. Dr. Sandi offered her advice on how health coaches can use Function Health findings to help their clients.
