About Dan Lukaczer, ND
Dr. Lukaczer received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in 1980 and his doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in 1991. He is past Director of Clinical Research at Metagenics’ Functional Medicine Research Center where he was the principal investigator on various clinical trials involving medical foods and novel nutritional ingredients.
Dr. Lukaczer is currently in private practice in Tacoma, Washington and Director of Medical Education at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). IFM is a medical education company that produces online and onsite training in Functional Medicine. Dr. Lukaczer has authored several papers and book chapters on nutritional and botanical issues and has lectured on such topics as metabolic syndrome, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and food allergies.
