About Robert Hedeya

Dr. Robert Hedaya has been in medical practice as a psychiatrist and psychopharmacologist since 1979. He has recently been brought on to mentor physicians at the Cleveland Clinic, Center for Functional Medicine.

He is also a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown University Medical Center, where he has been teaching courses on Affective Disorders, Cognitive Therapy and Psycho-neuro-immuno-endocrinology since 1983. He is a faculty member at the Institute for Functional Medicine, author of three books, and the founder of the National Center for Whole Psychiatry in Chevy Chase, Maryland. He has been featured in the local and national media on many occasions and is a frequent, nationally and internationally recognized speaker.
