FMCA Co-Founder and Chief Wellness Officer, Elyse Wagner, MS, CN, LMHCA, and our International Relations Coordinator, Mahnaz, explored how three health coaches in Turkey are using their Functional Medicine education. The following are the interviews with Functional Medicine Certified Health Coaches (FMCHC) Emine Sporel Ozakat, Sezin Ardanuc, and Ipek Yonder; all members of the Turkish Functional Medicine Health Coaches Group; a group they started.
“As graduates of Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, we established the Turkish Functional Medicine Health Coaches. We are an energetic and dynamic team. Our different fields, niches, and strengths give us the opportunity to focus on your needs and provide you with individual, corporate, or group Functional Medicine Coaching. Whether it is nutrition and diet, stress management, quality sleep and relaxation or exercise and movement, we can support you in many ways towards your journey to become the healthiest version of yourself. We also endeavor to support our community by offering underserved individuals non-profit coaching sessions. Our free book club gives attendees the opportunity to share their input, feelings, and experiences as well as discover other means to develop.”

Ipek Yonder, FMCHC
Ipek Yonder was in the March 2019 class. She was convinced that most of her own and both her sons’ health issues could be resolved through natural remedies and healthy eating. After discovering the root cause of her severe and prolonged migraines and Hashimoto’s disease and shocking her endocrinologist after over two decades with her amazing results – she knew she was on the right track and there was so much more to learn for herself and her family. This led her to the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy. Ipek is proud to now be a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach.
